Shushu is a social game based on the classic "Broken Telephone" party game. Players pass phrases through a chain using text-to-speech audio. Each player listens to the phrase and types what they hear, creating hilarious mutations as the message travels through the chain.

Tap the "Start a Whisper" button on the home screen. Enter a phrase (or tap Suggest for inspiration), choose a language and difficulty, then share the invite code with friends. You can also make your whisper public so anyone can join.

You can join by entering an invite code shared by a friend, or by browsing public whispers in the Browse tab. Just tap "Join" and wait for your turn.

Difficulty controls how many times you can listen to the phrase before typing your answer:

• Easy: Listen up to 6 times
• Medium: Listen up to 4 times (default)
• Hard: Listen only twice

Each turn has a timeout (set by the whisper creator, default 24 hours). If you don't play within the time limit, your turn is automatically skipped and the whisper moves to the next player. You'll receive a notification when it's your turn.

Shushu currently supports 5 languages for text-to-speech: English, Spanish, German, Greek, and French. The app interface is also available in all these languages.

Only the creator of a whisper can cancel or delete it. Open the whisper, tap the menu, and choose:

• Cancel: Stops an active whisper. No more turns will be played, but the whisper remains visible in your history.
• Delete: Permanently removes the whisper and all its entries. This cannot be undone.

Yes, Shushu is completely free to play. There are no ads or in-app purchases.
